Synopsis
Ål Inn is a 10-episode documentary series produced by the Norwegian national broadcaster in 2023. The series follows deaf and hearing students attending Ål Folk High School in Norway, a unique gap-year educational program where the staff and teachers are deaf and Norwegian Sign Language is the primary language of communication.
Filmed over the course of an academic year, the series provides an in-depth look at the daily lives, challenges, friendships, and personal growth of both students and teachers within a signing environment.
