Synopsis
Ben Gideon is a doctor of great skill, he also has a great bedside manner. He heads the experimental oncology ward at a fictional teaching hospital in New England. Based on the work of Dr. Jerome Groupman, Gideon fights to inspire the next generation of doctors.
Episode 13 “Orphans”
A deaf 14-year-old girl asks for a cochlear implant, but her parents, who are also deaf, are against it. In the meantime, a lawyer for the hospital asks Gideon out and a patient Sid pronounced dead turns out to be alive, but in a vegetative state.
