Synopsis
Teodoro Durán, a doctor, visits Alicia, a young woman in very fragile health, unhappily married to Jordán, a stern man who deeply loves her. Alicia gradually weakens, falling victim to a terrible illness that Teodoro is unable to explain. As he searches for a cure, he and Alicia will share a love without hope.
